MYCT1 encodes a nuclear protein that regulates MYC target genes and is predicted to function in hematopoietic stem cell homeostasis. The gene has very low constraint against loss-of-function variants (pLI 0.0004, LOEUF 1.45), suggesting that heterozygous loss-of-function mutations are likely tolerated. No definitive human disease associations have been established for MYCT1 mutations.
